Capturing and delivering great sounds starts with the source, so before even thinking about placing a mic on anything, I make great efforts to ensure the instruments are all in good shape and the artists are comfortable. I tune and treat drums, position instruments to ensure the set up is optimal, and create a relaxed, creative and fun atmosphere where musicians can focus on giving their best performance.
